Cookie Notice
This cookie notice describes the practices of the cinemarcell.hu website (hereinafter: Website) regarding cookies and similar technologies. The detailed rules of data processing are set out in the Privacy Notice.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small data file that your browser saves on your device when you visit the Website. Cookies help the website function properly, remember your settings and – with your consent – serve statistical or marketing purposes.
2. What cookies does the Website use?
2.1. Strictly necessary cookies and storage technologies
These are essential for the basic operation of the Website and therefore cannot be switched off. These include in particular cookies and browser storage entries that serve:
- the technical operation of the Website;
- security functions (e.g. spam protection for forms);
- session management;
- remembering your cookie settings.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – the Data Controller's legitimate interest in the secure and proper operation of the Website. Under the ePrivacy Regulation and the Hungarian infocommunications rules, cookies strictly necessary for the use of the service may be applied even without consent.
2.2. Statistical cookies
For traffic measurement we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The tracking code is only loaded if you consent to statistical cookies in the cookie settings; without your consent no data is transferred to Google.

Google processes this data under the Google Analytics terms of service, in line with the EU–US Data Privacy Framework: policies.google.com/privacy
Legal basis: Article 6 (1) a) GDPR – your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.
2.3. Marketing cookies
Cinemarcell currently does not use marketing-purpose cookies, in particular:
- Meta Pixel;
- TikTok Pixel;
- Google Ads conversion tracking;
- other advertising-measurement or remarketing tracking codes.
If, in the future, a statistical, functional or marketing-purpose cookie or similar technology requiring consent is introduced, it will only be applied after obtaining your necessary prior consent, and this notice will be amended accordingly.
3. Third-party content
The Website may contain embedded social media and video content (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). This content only loads if you click on it; the embedding service provider may then set cookies on your device in accordance with its own data processing policy.
4. Managing consent
On the cookie interface that appears on your first visit, you can decide whether to allow cookies beyond the necessary ones:
- Only necessary – only cookies essential for operation are applied;
- Settings – you can give your consent by category (statistics, marketing);
- Accept all – you allow all cookie categories.
You can modify or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of the Website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of consent-based processing carried out before the withdrawal.
5. Managing cookies in the browser
You can also manage, disable or delete cookies in your browser's settings. Help pages for the most common browsers:

Please note that if you disable strictly necessary cookies, some functions of the Website may not work properly.
